just spent time and money on the Hancock Fabric site....big sale on batiks

That sounds like fun! I did that this week too, but at the local quilt shop as they had batiks at 25% off.

That is a variation of the carpenters wheel block. I modified it ALOT. I wanted all the squares around the middle star to be the same size. I printed it out on Quilt Assistant. Well spring is only around the corner, and he will be able to get out and around much easier. I am a firm believer in the power of fresh air and the sun. It just makes a body feel better.
