I have to apologize to Wendsy, her blocks arrived at my neighbors house several weeks ago. Unfortunately it was during the time when her husband had just had a heart attack. When I asked her to look for an envelope with a block in it was I surprised when she gave me a zippy bag full of 10 blocks. It also included her F8. I will work on the block for her and mail it this weekend. Again, I am sorry to have missed your blocks for so long.

That's too bad that it happened, but I wouldn't call it your fault. Sometimes life gets in the way for everyone and it sounds like she had her hands full right then.
The important part is that you have them now and you can get on with it. JMHO

Don't feel so bad-I'm just glad that you got the package. Don't sweat it, with all the mail mess ups lately I think it's very nice that your neighbor is there to collect your packages when you're not there. Especially after reading a few weeks about a quilt that went missing even with a conformation! I hope you can put them all to good use  enjoy 8-)

I am playing catchup today. A very dear friend and the commander of our search & rescue team passed away and it has been a very hard and long 10 days. ANYWAY, here are the beautiful grown-ups that came home.

I used some of my returned blocks to make this quilt which will be sent to Japan. A group of us are donating quilts to the efforts to reach 1000 quilts sent by e.quilter.com. and the Misssion of Love group.
I hope you like seeing some of the blocks in action.

    Joan,
That is such a good idea for use of the blocks. I am sure they will love the work you have done.
