That is what I am trying to do too!! I just recently started saving to do a postage stamp quilt and think it would be fabulous to have one from here :-)

Are you in the 1 1/2 inch swap? I'm doing that one, and I have TONS of squares. If you'd like some I'll send some to you with my block to you!

All right ladies.. this is what you are getting.. I don't know who is actually getting what fabric, but I thought I'd give a sneak peak. :)

This one I know I sent to about 13 people:

And I can't decide if the rest of you are getting:

So Saturday was a no go to send the last 17 F8's. They will be headed out on the postal services wings tomorrow thanks to a dear friend who is helping me as I can not leave work to head to the post office myself. i will have to wait a bit longer than everyone else as I am in Turkey. However I am truly enjoying everyone elses delight!!!

Hi! I just got the last of my fabs in envelopes to mail out for this group! I'll stick notes in with the fabs, but just a heads up. Some of my fabs are a shy F8...cut 9"x half of the WOF...(somewhere around 21" ) I hope those that get those cuts can "make do". It's the best I could do with what I had. If you have a problem making it work just let me know. I told April about it and she thought it'd be ok. Please do not use white or white on white with the Christmas fabs for lights...I think a light tan, ecru, tan or even gold tones etc might look a little better for what I have in mind. Thanks! In any case, just do what you can and I'm sure I'll be happy with what you make! :) Take care & watch your mail! Will post names when I actually mail them!

PS Chigger love the new avatar!! Is that a deer you are petting??
Thanks...yes it is a dear deer. I was visiting a friend in WA and she had to introduce me to their "Bambi". It is a wild deer that visits them on a regular basis. They asked fish & game to come take it further out of town so it wouldn't get hit on the hwy and they told her they no longer provide that service. Go figure! So it was a pleasure to get acquainted. It seems friendly and seems very social. Hope it survives!

I am so happy to have blocks already on the way to me :-) :-)

I have one squishy to work with (the rest head off to Florida tomorrow). So far I have drawn a block on quilt assistant at least 10 times, choosen colors a few times, changed my mind repeatidly and actually sewn NOTHING! That sparkly fabric has very high standards and I may end up shipping her off and working with the pretty pink hearts instead :)

Be on the lookout. The following Besties will have finished blocks in the mail tomorrow.

DonnaDrum, vivnme, Oatw13, and twospoiled huskies. I hope you like them. They were fun to make.
