Great blocks! I can hardly wait for mine to come in. You all are welcome to post pictures as you make them....no big surprises for me! LOL
I'm asking that you post when you receive the fabs I send out as you get them. I'm highlighting my list as you receive them...that way I'll know if I miss anyone! LOL (it could happen, you know!)

the other thing is for those who don't mind I'd love to have you send a small siggi block along with the finished blocks.
I think something very simple would be nice. I've also asked the other group to do the same. Here's what I'm thinking:
    Siggi Block:
Something very simple, I think! How about 3 strips sewn together. Strip # 1 (medium to dark solid or print) cut 2" x 4 1/2"
    Strip # 2 light color cut 21/2" x 4 1/2"
    Strip # 3 (medium to dark solid or print) cut 2" x 4 1/2"

I've never done a tute before. Do you need one for this...very simple
3 strips or bars sewn together.
I'd be so happy if you all want to do this, but if not, it'll be ok.
I will send one out with all of my finished blocks!

    ______________________________
    strip #1
Cut 2" x 4 1/2" medium to dark solid or print
    _______________________________

    ________________________________
    strip # 2
    Cut 2 1/2" x 4 1/2 inches light color to write on
please put name, board name, group (buddies) and state on it
    __________________________

    __________________________
    strip# 3
    Cut 2" x 4 1/2"
med or dark solid or print
    __________________________

Sew all three together in that order , write your info with permanent fabric pen (pigma pens work well)
    Press and you're done!
I'll send them out with the blocks I finish as well! What do you think?

I will probably have these mailed out tomorrow, along with the f8s for both swap groups. I don't think my mail carrier really wants to pick them all up from our box, so may need to take a trip to the PO.

Overnight, our weather warmed up, its raining, and our snow is all melting. I heard on the news this morning that the only state without snow today is Florida! Even Hawaii is having some snow??
Goldendog55, you have a great website.
    Obsessed and janecat beautiful blocks.
Chigger I would be happy to include a siggy block with your block when I send it back.
Bibliostone I love your block to moonrise, I think batiks are my very favorites.
I received F8s today from Nursebonnie, sweetness and bookworm. Everyone is sending out such great fabric. I am planning on spending the whole weekend working on blocks.

Maine Ladybug - your block is all done, but I am having trouble parting with it. I am making myself a block like it and I want to see them together before yours goes. It is be out by Friday.

would absolutely love as many as you want to part with. I am doing the swap. Last time I didn't get 1 duplicate in 750 squares. I was really impressed. Imagine how much fabric is out there and no two people from all over the world cut the same thing. I am trying to keep track to see how long it takes to get a duplicate.

That is what I am trying to do too!! I just recently started saving to do a postage stamp quilt and think it would be fabulous to have one from here :-)

Are you in the 1 1/2 inch swap? I'm doing that one, and I have TONS of squares. If you'd like some I'll send some to you with my block to you!
