I'm fine with little...no need to make more work for yourself or spend more $. I'm really only using 1/2 of what is sent in each persons block or around that it seems anyway.

I NEED HELP!!!! Seriously, I think we need to do a tute on how to cut the fabric...LOL. I originally cut all my fabric too big. Figured that out really fast when I ran out so fast...LOL. No big deal...I was cutting Fat QUARTERS by mistake. So, got more fabric and used what was cut wrong to cut them right.... Long story short, here is my issue...for some reason I am ending up with HUGE waste. I now have 17 pieces of my fabric that are about 7 inches by 18 inches. Is anyone else having this much waste? I have all but 12 envelopes totally ready to send out and my LQS is out of the fabric...if that tells you how much I have messed up on cutting this! Anyway, so I can either send something different to those 12 folks OR send the smaller pieces of 7 by 18. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

Mailed F8 your way 10 Jan and have not had any returned. I am in Turkey so that is the only thing I can think of for the delay other than getting eaten somewhere by gremlins...hehe!

I received F8's from Diecy and Mistiliz yesterday. I have also received several grown up blocks and will post names and pictures later today after I see what today's mail brings. We have had company from out of town and I haven't been able to sew for 4 days - I'm having withdrawal symptoms. They are leaving today and I can again mess up my guest bedroom with fabric and blocks and dig out my sewing machine.

Just for recordkeeping purposes, the only F8's I haven't received are

    Materialgirl
    Megsann
    Qbee
    Wendsy

Ok. This is a first for me. I have actually sent out grown up block to:
    1. Pattis47u (sent two because I wasn't sure the first one was the right colors.
    2. Obsessed
    3. Moonrise
    4. Oatw13 (sent two because she was kind enough to send me on extra 1/8 after I messed up the cut on her first one
    5. JaneCat.

I have to say that everyone on this board seems to be so nice. I couldn't have found a better place to spend so much of my time. :) :) :) :)

Thank ya'll SO MUCH for your help! I can't tell you how much I appreciate ya'll offering to take the smaller pieces. I think I'm going to go with the idea of sending a "bonus" piece of fabric along with the smaller piece so the recipient will get some to keep. Thanks again!! :D
