OK....so....ALL of my F8s went out today. So you should be getting them next week. Most of you got a "normal" F8, some got 2 small F8s and then 8 of you, who SO sweetly volunteered to take a smaller piece to help me out will be getting a PM from me. Also, I wanted to do an updated list of the folks that I have gotten F8s from. If your name is on this list, then I DO have your fabric! Obviously, if you are NOT on the list...I don't have your F8..LOL :D THANKS!!

I have received some really great new blocks from Navarre2011, Vivnme/fryguymoore, Carsey, and two spoiled huskies.

I was very pleasantly surprised to find 2 envelopes in my mail today. I was more surprised to find the motherlode when I opened the envelopes.
Dawn - Fryguymoore sent me 2 blocks and wow was I excited and walking on clouds for the extra block....
.
then I opened the envelope from Misty OATW13 and I was hopping, skipping and jumping on the clouds. She was gracious enough to send me 4, count them 4 blocks to add to the soldiers in Afghanastan quilts. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, from the bottom of my heart. The are all beautiful. My heart is so happy with all the blocks I have received so far for the guys/gals serving overseas. Pictures to follow in a few minutes.

Pattis - I am so glad you like the blocks. :) I had to do a double take the other day when someone else posted the Japanese lantern block. They are so similar and it isn't a common block. Great minds think alike! lol

When I saw it, I had the same thought. I really appreciate your extra effort. It will mean alot to them when they get the quilts. I am writing the names on the back of the blocks so I dont get confused. Then when I put the backings on I will add the names on the name block so they get to know who cares.

I received a beautiful purple block today from Janecat, thank you so much. I love how all my blocks are looking hanging together on my wall.
