QBee if it were me I would send the smaller pickes to the other and a bonus pick of fabric. I would note to the receiver that I had a cutting area and would like them to use the main fabric for my block and keep the bonus or incorparate it into my block. All of use ladies have been in this boat at some point and time. I have even purchased fabric and relized 3/4ths the way done with a quilt that I did not have enough.

Mickey's and MInnies are sooo cute! I got bears. How many of those did you send out? You will be getting the grown up back in a few days :)
I sent out 24 of Mickey and Minnie. The other nine all had bees somewhere on them. I do believe the bears you got were getting some honey!
Cool! I was starting to get worried that I put the wrong name on the fabric! lol

I NEED HELP!!!! Seriously, I think we need to do a tute on how to cut the fabric...LOL. I originally cut all my fabric too big. Figured that out really fast when I ran out so fast...LOL. No big deal...I was cutting Fat QUARTERS by mistake. So, got more fabric and used what was cut wrong to cut them right.... Long story short, here is my issue...for some reason I am ending up with HUGE waste. I now have 17 pieces of my fabric that are about 7 inches by 18 inches. Is anyone else having this much waste? I have all but 12 envelopes totally ready to send out and my LQS is out of the fabric...if that tells you how much I have messed up on cutting this! Anyway, so I can either send something different to those 12 folks OR send the smaller pieces of 7 by 18. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks!
I haven't gone to look to see if I have received your F8 or not, but if you haven't sent mine I will work with the smaller piece if it helps you! Maybe you could pm the others you've sent to and see if they would mind receiving a little smaller piece. We're all together in this! :) Don't stress!

Qbee I don't mind a smaller piece at all. I am curious though. You said you cut fat quarters right? If you would have split those in half they should have been the fat eights that you needed. It sounds like you are getting your numbers mixed up or something.

Please don't stress so much over it! This should be FUN! And I know I am learning more with each block I do :)

Oh, and I personally put my own address in the returned blocks but that is mainly because I have an entire roll of my own address lables....lol. It was just easier :)

On a return block as long as you put an address it is ok to use yours (this is done in case the postal monster eats the envelope it can find it's way to someone :-))

    Hi Boomerang Buddies
I have received most of the F8's and have finished one block and mailed it back. I have also mailed out all of my F8's. I am sooo excited with this boomerang. I have never actually participated in one before and I love to see everyone's finished block. Unfortunately I am not one bit competent with electronics, computers, and such. So I'm not sure I can post pics of the blocks I receive. I'll do my best.
