Have you looked through the other Boom threads to see the results of what other people choose? I just posted my Boom 4.0 blocks on that thread. I know that some people send two fabrics (it costs way more, so I can't do it,) there blocks all match very nicely. My Mom used a soft pink batik and her blocks are BEAUTIFUL and all look great together. I used solid black because I wanted some of every color in my quilt and that is what I got :) I really wanted to send a plain white fabric, but with 3 kids, a dog, and 2 cats I didn't dare do white. Some people sent 36 different fabrics (30's or Civil War prints, I think). I haven't seen the result, but I bet that would turn out nice. Have fun choosing!

Decided to use the "Bed & Breakfast" collection from Connecting Threads that I had.

BEFORE I cut it, want to be sure that it is to be 18 x 11??
What size envelopes are you all using? :?:
18 X 11 is correct. I used legal size envelopes because they are the cheapest and the F8 fits just fine. They should only cost 44 cents to mail.

Thanks Dawn for helping me out :-)
I would agree perhaps the people who have allergies should include a note to please not use any fragrances in their block making. Thanks for the good idea Dawn :-)
I had one drop out so we are back to 16 open spots....hurry deadline for signups is closing and trust me you do not want to miss this one
Sandy-let your fabric talk to you. Don't worry about it just let it be. One of the fun things I have learned is when I don't have a particular plan in mind the blocks end up coming back and speaking to me in a way I did not expect-and a great way at that!

I picked up 40 security envelopes yesterday at the dollar store, which are the legal size. So yeah, don't go to some office store and pay triple for envelopes.

April, I'm sending you a PM. I participated in Boom 2.0 and am looking forward to doing this again . . . crazy as it is. I'm so far behind in other projects but this will be lots of fun and I think I'd kick myself for sitting out.
