OMG...So sorry that happen. At least you got an envelope. When Rhonda sent me her rulers my envelope was all tore up and one of the rulers were broken and a piece missing so I can't put it together. I wish they would be more careful.

Ahhh, yes. The US Postal Service. They are our FRIENDS! Say it with me now, ladies, "the Postal Service is my FRIEND".....
Part of me just wants to go down there and smack somebody for how they handle the mail. And then another part of my brain says, "hold on! You put a letter/bill/whatever in an envelope, put your address & stamp on it, and expect it to get SAFELY across the state (or the country) in ONE day (maybe two?) for a measly 44 cents??? You're lucky it arrives at all in any sort of a reasonable fashion at that price!"
I will admit to holding on to that block for 8 days before I opened it up. I was completely TERRIFIED that it was going to be seriously damaged and I would have no way to repair it, and would not want to ask the sender to make me a new one. After all, it's not HER fault the pony express allows the ponies to run roughshod over the mail before they deliver it. Right?
But all is well; the block is lovely; and I am happy it arrived to me safely. Now I must press it, show it love, and give it other blocks to play with so it can be eternally happy in its new home.
