I have spent the day organizing and re-arranging my stash.
I promised someone more information on coroplast sheets.
I have pictures attached. Coroplast is that white stuff that looks like corrugated plastic. They make politician signs out of it to stick in the yard. It is acid free. It comes in 4x8 foot sheets (very expensive) and smaller sizes. I bought the 24x18 sheets, cut them into 12 inch by 6 inch "cores". I took my yardage, folded into 12 inch folds and wrapped around the core. I secured with rubber coated paper clips, both the large and the small size.

And now after hours of rearranging, folding and rolling fqs
I have a much better room. I have lots more to do, and my quilt backs are just stacked on the top shelf all willy-nilly

I bought coroplast at Lowe's to try for $6.99 a 18x24 sheet. I bought it on ebay from a sign making company for 50 sheets for $60.50. When I cut them to size, it comes to 21 cents each for the core. (Yardage is extra ;-) )

I can't, I have to finish mine! Let's see what tomorrow brings...
I just can't decide what to do with my scraps, I've seen the strip method but I never make strip quilts. I guess I'll keep looking for a better way for me. But for about $80, I have a whole new room!
