YEAH Sunrise...good job!! I love both those blocks..have seen the bottom one but never brave enough to try it...I think it involves the dreaded paper piecing?? Two more blocks going home tomorrow. Moonrise and Abbys Mom. I think I have 4 more to finish in the other group and done with this group making blocks. LOVE seeing the pictures of finished blocks!

No mail today, none! Which is really surprising because my Mom is the Junk mail queen! Everyday there is at least one catalog in the mail. But yesterday I put a hold on the mail for next week and I wonder if the mail lady misunderstood the start date.

I sent out my last block to Missgigglewings. and have posted pictures of all received blocks in my album.

I am leaving Sunday for a week, I am going to be up in them there hills! Starting on August 5th I will be on a crew that helps maintain the PCT (Pacific Crest Trail) It is a hiking trail that goes from Mexico to Canada. We will be working on a section near Mt Bachelor, it is called the Mirror lake Skyline project. We will pack in about 4 miles set up camp then work on clearing the trail and repairing. I am really excited. I love camping and backpacking but this is the first time I have had a hand in being a Volunteer crew member. I am really surprised that they accepted my application, you know I am not a spring chicken any more!

So I will be back on August 12 with stories of my new adventure!

I did get fabric for the Breast Cancer Quilt from Linda and Jan, The fund raiser has been temporary postponed. there has been no word from the family as to when it might be, but I am thinking later in the fall. If you have recently sent to me I will get it when I return.

Ok ladies I am off on my adventure, see ya when I get back~

    Smiles, Marybeth
