I mailed 95% of both groups yesterday, and would you believe God is so good, he made sure that Sunrise's envelope stayed behind with the few that I need to fill with fabric . I am so blessed. After the nasty day I had yesterday, needed to see some blessing out of it. Glad I checked in this am so I get it right today. I still have three more I need to fill with the fabric. sending off to Jaba and Anna today your two pieces. Doing the pieces, there is more fabric than needed so you will have some extra to keep around for yourselves. Thanks. that about does the pieces, As soon as I get that quilt done, will have some good chunks to mail off.

My Block I received today, well really yesterday, from myself!

Boy am I fast! Good thing I am in the fast group! The block is called Goose Creek, it is really made to be scrappy, but I just modified and it works for me. I tried to fussy cut the butterflies but gave up for the most part! Too many butterflies and being on point just about made me crazy!

Hopefully this will give you an idea of what colors I want used with my block. Even if you got the lavender one please try and use green blue and bright pink like in the fabric.

    Thanks~

btw, I did not get the correction on the pl. ct. I hope you get it anyway!

Question also ladies. I know you have sent out the pretty cottons, but like on marytoddliz, I have green blue and pinks in my batiks, but not much in the prints type fabric or tone on tones. You are not going to mind if I mix the two and make them together are you?

Beth, go ahead and mix, I am often mixing batiks with no batiks. I don't see the problem unless it is a batik that might run if not pre-washed. But Batik is 100% cotton so shrinkage should be the same!

I was so disappointed with my empty mail box! I am ready to sew, like NOW.. hehehe... I know I have about a hundred projects that I could work on but I think I might just go start a new project!

my trip to California has been cancelled. I am not going this month. maybe later in the fall!

I've got a black and white print so batiks would actually work well. Go for it, be creative!

I have been crazy at work, haven't had time to address the envelopes when I get home from work in the evenings. Work 12 hours 4 days a week keeps me busy and I am on the phone all day, need to bring them to work with me tomorrow and address between talking on the phone with my oxygen patients. I will have them mailed out this weekend, Monday at the latest.
