Hopefully you will host another one of these in a few months, we are in the middle of moving to Germany with the military and i wont have the time to commit to another swap (and I wont know my mailing address), but would love to join in on this in the future.

This swap runs on about a three month cycle so you should be able to join once you are situated in Germany. Good luck with the move!

O.K. I have one big question before I solidify my choices for the other 15 fabrics (the first bunch are batiks). I'm wondering if anyone on the swap would mind receiving a bit of
maybe more challenging fabric? By this I mean some might be stripes or directional? I'm thinking scrappy and I've pulled several fabrics but I don't want to send one out to someone who might be overwhelmed or frustrated by a fabric.
Let me know if you specifically wouldn't like that and I'll mark your name at the same time if someone enjoys working with stripes or geometrics again let me know and then I'll keep you in mind for one of these pieces.

Muriel-I love geometrics and a challenge so feel free to send one of what you think would be difficult :-)

O.k. I guess I have a 2nd question, if we send out a fabric we'd like used as the background along with another piece do we still need to send an 1/8th of each or can we send like a large square of each to have them add theirs to? Just wondering. Thanks,
    Muriel

O.k. Izabella, if I decide on these one is yours. There are about 4 in this group so I'll see what happens. BTW I was in chat this a.m. when you came in but then you were gone just that quick, thought maybe you got the boot chat has been really been bad lately. I had to get off and go to work, sorry to have missed you but hopefully there will be another time.
    Thanks,
    Muriel

    AkAngel,
I'm not up for stripes all going in the same direction. I can never get them right so I just gave up!
Thanks for giving us the option not to have to work with the hard stuff!! Quilted Hugs!

    AkAngel,

I will take whatever you send! I tend to do most of my work with bright novelty prints and lots of color, so I am okay with whatever you send my way!

(Actually, the muted florals scare me more! I never seem to know what to do with those!)
