mistiliz - I love that block! It is very striking! I really need to learn how to do that.
"lisas" - I agree with everyone else. You look more like sisters than me and my sisters do! WOW! So happy you have each other again. I homeschool my kids, too! (Well, my mom homeschools my DS10 and DS15 homeschools himself! lol)

I am so glad you all like that block. I have a software called "Block Base" and it contains a ALOT of blocks to choose from. Its relatively an easy block. Around the curves I cut on the bias so that the fabric will give alittle when machine sewing. The tricky part is the ends tho. You have to really match it perfectly so that the points are all even. I marked the ends with a color pencil so that I know when to end my stitch.

I believe that I got a bit mixed up when I pulled out several when I was making them ...and also when taking pictures ... so I just want to verify these before sending them out.
