Nine Patch is great Robin and as you get more comfortable you can try something else.
I'm glad you've decided to join us. I'm excited about this exchange but I'll admit a little nervous also as most my quilting is only on weekends as I work all week and am usually to tired in the evenings.
But there is only 6 weeks left so maybe after that I can do more.

I understand but do not be nervous-this is a fun swap with great people in it! I work outside of the home 50 hours a week and have a 4 year old so I know how you feel :-) It CAN be done lol

Robin so glad you decided to join us! I love the 9 patch, maybe doing some of those myself!

I tried strips last night....not so good at them, maybe with practice!

Welcome Robin....so glad you decided to join us. You wont regret it I am sure.

I was just as nervous starting the first round. Concerned I would not have time or my work would not be good enough. I am so glad I did not give into my concerns then. I have the makings for a beautiful quilt with all the blocks from my new friends. Now I cant wait to have 2.0 start. Getting squishies in the mail just brightens your day!!

Ok...after cutting F8th of 36 different fabrics for 2.0 I have changed my mind!! I am still going to send out 24 different fabrics...so I can still have my scrappy quilt. But for about 3 years I have wanted a lap size Christmas for myself. So I have decided that you all are going to help me get that done. So twelve of you will be recieving Christmas fabric. It is not religious themed at all but I do know that there are people who do not celebrate the holiday. If you have any objection to the Christmas fabric please let me know and I will be sure to send one of the others. I am even more excited now!! (Don't you love those middle of the night...laying in bed awake inspirations!!!)
