I mailed 34 F8s this morning, all except kysmommy's. Sticking the tiny purple queens on each envelope I couldn't help thinking what a gorgeous quilt fabric those would make...

On the spur of the moment I decided not to mail short cuts. Four of you will be getting a different, yellow-gold batik instead of the picture I posted. I hope you all enjoy playing with them!

kysmommy2, yours is sitting here with its stamp ready for mailing if you say "now" - or happy to wait until you arrive in your new home! As you choose. Have a happy move. xx

Headed to the post office in a few minutes. Last night in a fit of insomnia I made my own block. It's not a pattern, I really wanted to use that dark purple and I only had 3" strips. GRRR.

I will make everyone "real" blocks - not crazy made up ones.

I don't know about anyone else but I kinda like crazy mixed up blocks. They tend to be easier to sew than patterned ones.

I like that block!! Of course I LOVEEEE Purple!

Have to agree with ReRe on being easier to make and I think they are fun!

Plan is to have all my fabric ready to mail by Friday.....finished addressing the envelopes last night!
