I got a boomerang block today and believe it or not ... I forget who gave it to me. Let me walk over and check the list that April gave us and see if I marked it with today's date anywhere. Ah Ha! It came from Mishnjim. Lovely block.

Today's trip to the mailbox yielded only one squishie, but it is a lovely piece of fabricd from Kathy N. It's sitting in the basket playing coy ("you know I'm the prettiest; you know you like me; you won't be able to resist making your prettiest block with me" ... winking, flirting, batting it's eyelashes ...
All the other F8's in that basket are turning their backs and dissing this pretty little fabric, like snobby little preteen girls. But I have admonished them all to play together nicely or I will make them into ugly blocks and no one wants that!
Maybe tomorrow will bring more pretties in my mailbox....

Odessa! THAT'S squishy abuse! Threatening the squishies with ugliness! poor squishies, probably trembling in fear right now and tell your new squishy - "Girl, you need a attitude adjustment!"
Robin- yes, you can have another chance...I hope MY squishy isn't watching those grown-up TV shows...she's way too young! She should be in bed when those are on...
Mish-what's going on in your squishy pen? Are they playing hide n seek? Mischievous? Tell them they better be where you told them to be or you will ground them!
Sometimes we have to be firm with our squishies or they just get out of control! ;)

Okay Ladies....I did a booboo when I sent out my blocks. Who had the fabric with the kids and earth on it? I accidently sent it to the wrong person which means that person probably has the wrong one too. OMG...I'm so Sorry.

And squishie abusers, and reformed squishie abusers!
And abusive squishies, and squishies flying to the wrong homes!!! Probably just escaping to take a quick trip around the country while they still can, before committing to life as a quilt... and hopefully to find their way to the right places soon, just imagine those tears of reuniting and joy....

Did you know we are going to be making 1260 blocks in just this round of this swap?!?! Sending a total of 2520 squishies... 70 going to each of us (or a few more, depending on how many trick us into giving them detours on their way home).
And for me this week: zero. :cry:

I'm just so glad for the pictures and stories in this thread to tide me over. :)
