I received my first 2 blocks yesterday from oatw13 and her mom. I was so happy to get them and they turned out sooooo nice! Thank you very much!

Changed my mind. I'm going to mail five out tomorrow to: akangel, norbanaquilts, reneebobby, salmonsweet and sandiannie. Hope they arrive home safely.

Thanks, Robin. If I could go back and re-do hoppyfrog's, I'd alter the color placement. Although she said she wanted bright, I'm finding this one a bit much to look at for very long. I liked it when I made it, but the more I see it, the more I wish I'd done it differently. I'm hoping she's receiving lots of other brights and that it won't stand out like a really big sore thumb.
I wouldn't change anything. I love it. It will look wonderful with all the others. Thanks.

lol -- i have to confess! My math was WAY WRONG and that's why the fish is two blocks instead of one. It worked out though, becuase if Star wants to use sashing in his quilt, she can just use the hourglass block (which is the correct size)

Speech doesn't equal Math!!

I loved that the fish block was two blocks, I thought it was pure genius to do it that way. You should have never told us about the whole wrong math thing.

I think it's an awesome block ... all these ideas ... and it just makes me want to quilt MORE!

Was trying some paper piecing last night after using the weed eater for over 2 1/2 hours ... I was too tired and way too sore ... to be trying to paper piece ... but it turned out okay for my second try :D
