Whoever ends up in my group you can use any of the solid color fabric as shown here in this piece. I see green, yellow, white, red, orange. Background is black so no black pretty please.

Went to Joanns yesterday and was really disappointed. They have a LOT of fabric but nothing that caught my eye...
I did manage to get a 10 1/2 ruler at 40% off...was hunting for a border fabric to go with my disappearing hour glass 2 quilt I finished but its made of an Andover fabric layer cake and Joanns didn't have a single solid color that matched the blues or the "keys" color in the fabric. Went to a LQS and picked out a fabric I thought would match but got home and found out I spent $28 of a fabric that was too "bright" for my quilt..that will teach me to take a sample with me next time! . Would you believe I have NOTHING started right now? My last 2 UFO'S are at work waiting to be picked up by quilter...guess I could do the blocks from the last swap but don't know what to sash it in yet...had 2 year old all weekend so didn't get too much sewing done. I DID finish the 100 year old hand made Dresdren plate quilt for a friend, hand quilted. It was SO out of square it was horrible to try to get it done right but she loves it and has her grandmas quilt done...Just wanted to say Happy Memorial Day, remember all who gave their lifes for this country!

Good morning everyone and happy Memorial Day!

Here are the sign-ups so far:

    Terriamn - 2 and 3 month
Billi - undecided about which group(s)
    Moonwork - 3 month
    Quilt Addict - 3 month
    LJDugas - 2 and 3 month
    Bibliostone - 3 month
    Mollymunchkin - 3 month
    Joanelizbay - 2 and 3 month
    Lucky_alf2 - 3 month
    flowergurl - 3 month
    Clsurz - 3 month
    BeeBeatty - 2 month
    Muse&Sew - 3 month

Kassaundra - still deciding on group, no email sent to me yet

If I've missed anyone, let me know!

So, that means at this point, we have 4 for the 2 month group and 11 for the 3 month group with Billi and Kassaundra undecided.

Sign-ups are very slow so we'll probably need every day through June 2nd to pull our groups together. If it turns out we are short, I'll be in touch to see how you'd like to handle it, possibly combine groups or some people may want to double up. We'll see!

BeeBeatty thanks so much for the fun welcome! Wish you were in the 3 month group too.
This should be a fun swap. Hope others will sign up.

I'm enclosing my fabric. I'm thinking birds or christmas. You can fussy cut the fabric. What do you think? I love the colors.

That is beautiful fabric! Just as an aside, I will mention that I always appreciate a piece of fabric that is a little oversized if I need to fussy cut it.
