Stain glass wall hangings, spicy spiral table toppers, trains, hippos, butterflys, space cowboys, a horse of a differnt color, and TravelingGrandma is playing again!!!!!!! Seriously great stuf ladies.

My 8's are cut packaged and labeled just waiting for final counts to mail them in. Knowing that this is a smaller group I've been practicing some blocks with my fabric.....good thing I've been playing with some stars because I can really see them in some of the fabrics you all are sending.

I hope you all are having a good weekend,

The more I look at the green I cut the more Im not caring for it so I might change my fabric. Depends on numbers and how I feel that day I guess! I just finished a quilt made out of my friends husbands shirts after he died. Had 2 heavy shirts left over so made the two pillows for her also. He was a avid deer hunter and processor of deer meat so it seemed fitting to put the panel in the middle...two of the shirts had "Ted" on them so I used them in the quilt. I have absolutely nothing cut out and only have the last boom blocks to put together... Need to get your fabric in the mail so Ill have something to work on!!

Joanelizbay what a thoughtful quilt! I'm sure your friend will love it!

Traveling Granmma love the bright stripes. I might have to think about this one, since stripes are always directional.

    Update time!

    Terriamn - 2 and 3 month
    Billi - 2 and 3 month
    Moonwork - 3 month
    Quilt Addict - 3 month
    LJDugas - 2 and 3 month
    Bibliostone - 3 month
    Mollymunchkin - 3 month
    Joanelizbay - 2 and 3 month
    Lucky_alf2 - 3 month
    flowergurl - 3 month
    BeeBeatty - 3 month
    Muse&Sew - 3 month
    Traveling Gramma - 3 month
    Kassaundra - 2 and 3 month

So, there have been some changes, some switching of groups and one person dropped. Right now we've got 14 people signed up as you can see. Unless something dramatic happens, the numbers will be too small for a two month group but we'll figure it out when sign-ups officially end on Tuesday night.

Oh Traveling grandma you are mean. Love the bright colors but boy stripes and me have been known not to get along. Will have to start looking for a pattern that I cam make sure I get the stripes lined up.

I think I have a cool idea for those stripes, but think for my sanity I will have to applique it. I'll have to test it out to see if it will work in fabric like it is in my head.

I also found an optical illusion idea I want to try.

Bluelady, check the dates on the first post. I'm away from home right now and cannot recall the dates off the top of my head. Thanks!
