    One of my favorites --

    "Time In A Bottle"

If I could save time in a bottle
The first thing that I'd like to do
Is to save every day till eternity passes away
Just to spend them with you

If I could make days last forever
If words could make wishes come true
I'd save every day like a treasure and then
Again, I would spend them with you

But there never seems to be enough time
To do the things you want to do, once you find them
I've looked around enough to know
That you're the one I want to go through time with

If I had a box just for wishes
And dreams that had never come true
The box would be empty, except for the memory of how
    They were answered by you

But there never seems to be enough time
To do the things you want to do, once you find them
I've looked around enough to know
That you're the one I want to go through time with

Was attempting a triangle convergence, didn't quite make it, but I know what I did wrong, should have started w/ 4 different fabrics not 2 doubled. Maybe could have gotten away w/ 3 fabrics one (the highlight fabric) doubled then w/ one different fabric each. (the picture is just half of the blocks if you are counting and not getting the same numbers! lol) But I do know my starting fabric size is correct, these were spot on for the correct size. I don't get how come the seams aren't lining up right they were stack cut so exactly to each other. Even though not really convergence I do like how it turned out.

does anyone subscribe to various quilting magazines? I get about 3 different ones but they seem to have more advertisements than anything anymore. And the patterns are "different"...maybe too modern for my taste. I think Ill just not subscribe and if I see one Im interested in buy it single....but even that is expensive anymore!! $9 for a magazine is crazy!!

The only one I "Have" to have is the 100 block magazine and the one that has the newest patch pal pet in it! Other than that I probably wont buy many... Just don't like all the advertisements!

Stopped subscriptions too. Had way to many and have used very little of the patterns, same old stuff in each magazine. Found out they are all on line for free or at the fabric site for free. Going to sit this boom out too, been trying to get all the quilts actually quilted and done...so many swaps on the board I had 15 tops waiting and now down to 5. I really need to get them done. This will be the very first boom I have not joined and am sad about that but hope all of you have fun.
Have to say to the old members and new ones, be careful about your size of 12 1/2" and what the sender wants for colors. If you don't have the color requested write a PM and ask....My opinion, if you don't have it and can't purchase, just send back the fabric without a block made. Like I say my opinon, just have too may UFO's in the drawer over "different" color choices that will never be used. Don't mean to hurt feelings, but instructions should be read and if not sure...send a PM and ask

Hi Janice! I sent you an email.
I did the Jade Boom last year. Had a great time. Thought I'd go for another round with all of you amazing quilters!
