We had 24 participants in the first half of this swap, the blocks were absolutely beautiful, THANK YOU to all that participated. Round 2 sign-ups are open and let's have a great turnout. Minimum of 6 blocks for swap.

I would like to propose a benefit quilt block swap for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. My suggestion is for each of us to make a quilt to donate to their local Breast Cancer Society to be raffled off during the month of October with proceeds to benefit the breast cancer society in your area or donate your quilt for display in a Breast Cancer/Mammography Clinic or to donate to a person going through breast cancer treatments right now.

    12 ½” UNFINISHED pink/white sampler blocks.

Please use 100% cotton and make sure your blocks measure 12 ½".

You make 6 blocks total, all alike and send them to me along with a self addressed, stamped envelope for return postage... what ever it cost to send it to me, it will cost to return your blocks to you...so be sure to put enough postage on your envelope.

Please mark EACH ONE of your blocks with a little slip of paper pinned to or a sticky label with your message board id, your real name. It is nice to know who made the blocks in your quilt.

If you want to make multiple sets, just make sure you have 6 blocks of each pattern. You will receive back as many as you send.

Your blocks must be to me on the following schedule:
    Round 1 CLOSED
Round 2 set of 6 blocks by June 15, 2010

I will mail them back out by July 1, 2010 or as close to that as possible.
