My blocks are there way!! March has a kite that goes over the edge onto the sashing, so I did not attach it to make it easier to place the block. Sorry no pics, my battery was dead...booo. If you could Deb, would please post pics?!

Just wanted to let you know mine are almost done. This is my first applique project and I admit I was really intimidated and felt overwhelmed and wished I hadn't signed up ... until I got into it and had so much fun creating each one of my 12 with a little different twist. They're bonded but not sewed down yet. I think I'm going to do something real simple so that I don't mess them up, just sew around the edges with a straight stitch. Is that ok?

I had March. They're on the way! A few pics. I had fun making each one a little different. :P
enlarged to show some detail, but each one has a different stitch around them

Yay! I was fretting because I know today is the deadline and I still had to trim mine to 12.5". I will leave them, and if you all don't mind, I will get them out tomorrow (since it is too late today...our post offices close at 4pm...how ridiculous is that??)
So thankful to finally be finished!
