    Thanks!
    Love it too!!!!!

I got dropped from this thread and didn't check it until tonight. I was wondering about the blocks. I had no idea you were having this much trouble, Deb. I would have helped, but thank goodness so many people stepped up to help get them done. Probably a good thing, too, since both of my sewing machines aren't working probably and need to go to the sewing machine doctor. I've been using my little Brother that I got to sew downstairs while watching TV at night with my family.

Thank you so much, Deb, for doing all this. I'm sorry about the people who didn't fulfill their commitments. That's just wrong.

I am going to be sewing like crazy today and tomorrow to get these extra girls in the mail by Friday. I hope mine aren't the last to arrive, but if they are, know that I am putting a lot of love into them, so hopefully they will be worth the wait. I had to go to the LQS to get some fabric to do the background water that she is sitting by.

This is my first swap. For those of you who have done this before, is this usual for people to commit and then totally not follow through? I can understand being a little late when unexpected things happen but it's hard for me to understand why someone would sign up and not let Deb know they could not keep their commitment. How have other swaps turned out? Thanks again for all your hard work with this swap Deb!

This block swap was different, we needed everyone who signed up to participate due to the calendar months.

Most swaps? It doesn't matter if a few drop out, you send in 12 blocks, you get 12 back as long as atleast 12+ members participate.

The same with the I Spy swap, you need all who sign up to participate in that one too, to get back the correct amount of blocks.

It is very sad when members sign up and don't let the host know that they can't keep their commitment.

As the host for the Secret quilt angel I can tell you unfortunatly YES it is way more previlant then it should be. I understand sometimes life gets in the way but it happens way too much.
