My next Sunbonnet Sue quilt will be one like Gollytwo posted!!!!
And they skipped all the way down the driveway and were ringing the door bell non stop! Just a few more to come in and we are good to start playing!

After agreeing to do an extra set , my niece asked me to travel with her ( long story short, I couldn't say no ) so that set me behind,I am sorry

Wondering when the blocks will be swapped out. What is everyone doing with their blocks when you get them. Anyone have an actual calendar pattern that could be used to hang on the wall.."??

I am planning on making wall calendars from them. I am going to make a frame that will have a place to hang the block each month and another part of the frame for an appointment calendar that can be changed each month. I haven't actually made the frame yet but have kind of designed it in my head.

I am collecting blocks for a 1930s quilt. My girls will be mixed in with my collection of blocks, and be used with all of them in a quilt.

I hope to make quilts (2 sets done), for my DGD. Am thinking I would like to make a redwork SBS calendar set for myself.
I hope everyone posts pictures of their projects.:)

Misty Marie's came this morning. I just checked the Activity roster for blocks waiting to come in yet, and I am waiting for 7 more sets to come in. I will start swapping what I have this weekend. I am also going to use mine in an actual calendar as well. I have an idea for the framing like Barb.....

Ladies, it is 2am on Sunday (Aug 1) and I am really tired of chasing all these little girls around the basement. I have 15 more packages to sort of the ones already here. I will continue later today and get the rest ready, with sticky notes of those I still need to complete the calendars. Thanks to all of you who stepped up to do multiple sets and for all of you for being so patient for your girls to come home.

I really feel for you. I am saddened that there were so many that were not able or willing to fulfill their commitments. I bet you are going to be breathing a sigh of relief when your house is Sue-free!

BTW - I had more fun doing my second set than the first.

Thank you to all the others who did step up and send in more blocks.
