I didn't want to spill the beans to Kaylee but if you want to see Rachel's I posted it on my PDA.

Kaylee is safely at school so I went over to see the picture. It's great! She's going to love it! Rachel did such a good job on those points. Impressive!

When she had trouble we had to do alittle hand on hand occasionally but I made sure she did the majority of it! I helped her guide the fabric but she had her hand there first and she loved the pinning. I had to bite my tongue sometimes! she would put the pins in so cockeyed!! But as long as they would hold I didn't fix anything or help her. Should have taken a pic of it! Her ideas of pinning were funny to see!. You might have a pin facing the seam or you might have one going backwards or sideways or both! She concentrated so hard on getting the pin through the fabric she lost sight of where the pin was going! LOL

She had a hard time with the rotary cutter at first but she got the hang of it after awhile. We did it hand on hand at first and then she made it clear she was doing it not Grandma! She had to learn to push harder on it so it would cut. But she finally got it!

She really enjoyed making the center but got bored with the borders and finishing it. Of course she was here by herself when we did the center and the twins were here when we did the borders etc. All she really wanted to do was go play with the boys but I had to talk her into finishing it up. She loved it when it was done! She was so proud of herself. She had definate ideas along the way as to what design she wanted and how she wanted it to look!

I am so proud of all of these kids for doing something so beautiful! Especially the ones who have never done this before!
