There is a reason that I call her hammy, there are a lot of pictures of her, there are quite a few more on the computer yet that I didn't post, if you look at my pda you can see her as a blueberry, they just did the Willy Wonka's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at school. she played Violet so I was lucky enough to get to make the blueberry, it was fun, and a learning experience.

There are so many crafts that kids of all ages can do, for the 5 year old, try the pony bead animals, there are some really easy pattern like the snake that teach them the fine motor skills that they need, it is so much harder to find things that little boys are interested in, but snakes etc is usually a good one, the can only string so many necklaces for mom before it gets old, but this way they also learn to follow the pattern and learn sequencing, it is all around good for them,

Alannah was so excited today to receive her doll quilt from Beckyw GD, Micky. As you can see she is thrilled with it, being in her favourite colours, and our quilt inspector Abbie approves as well. Great job Micky! :D :D

What a great Doll Quilt! Alannah is such a cutie! and the bird is really a pretty color! What kind of bird is it? It looks the size of my cockatiel but not sure what it is. Those colors are unusual here anyway!

Abbie is a Quaker parrot from South America. I think they are considered pests in parts of the US but they make great pets and are great little talkers with heaps of personality. I could be describing Alannah LOL she is a great talker too:lol:
Micky did a great job on the quilt.

Thanks Woody ( that is a favorite nickname for anyone in our family! anyone named Woodsmall gets this nickname more often than not)
I wanted to say it was a Love Bird as the colors are similar to one I used to have. They are green with some black and orange. But I didn't think it was one, Just curious. I love birds and their personalities.

Yes Mickey did a wonderful job on this quilt! It is really cute!
