Very pretty ornament. I could see it out all year. I think I need to look into making those ornament hangers also for next year.
i'm working on next yrs. ideas for the ornament swap. i'll do them in my spare time and file them away.
I usually make ornaments all year long, I just love making them.

    Lynnie,
You have too much time...I need you to get on down here to Texas, and I will keep you so busy working on stuff for this year that next year will be out of your mind until, well...next year!

I agree, kiffie, I am so busy quilting that I don't have time for much of anything else. So many needy people needing quilts all year round.

ooohhhhh kiffie, is that an open invitation??? and you too grann.
I start around now for next year. i'm always early. I started planning my sons 1st bday party b4 he was born.
every kid rec'd. a handmade stuffed dinosaur as a party favor that year.
my Halloween goodie bags are full of great things, including gift cert to all the fast food places around. I just love doing that type of thing. should have been a party planner.
so, I get the stuff done early, I don't sweat it out coz i'm done early. I can then enjoy the holidays. also, from being in retail for over 25 yrs, you have no time to do things once nov 15th rolls around, so you get things done. if i'm lucky, I may even have enough money left over for a small gift for myself, (do I smell a visit to the LQS)!!!!

I wouldn't mind. Mine don't have a lot of variety because I do mine on my embroidery machine. That way I can be embroidering while I am working on my charity quilts. I have arthritis in my hands and have great difficulty doing hand work.
