I received my ornament package from Letsquilt (Pat), but due to being in 3 other swaps I thought it was another one, and didn't think twice about opening it. Oops! I was a naughty girl. Don't tell Santa.

She sent a couple of really pretty well made ornaments with other nice goodies. I will post a picture later today. I was going to post one earlier tonight, but I have a cold and running a fever so I will have to wait until later today. I can't wait though for you to see them.

Thank you so much Pat (letsquilt).

So I didn't open it, but would like to know if you read this Materialgrl, is it an orny?? Because if it's not, I need to rip that baby open right now!! Lol

Weather wise here: today 82 for our high. About 7 pm the "Blue Norther" blew in, winds 35+ mph sustained, gusts 65+ mph. It's dropped 40 degrees already, our low tonight predicted to be 18. High tomorrow, 30, in the 20s on Wednesday.
So 82 degrees to 18 degrees in less than 24 hours. Which is not uncommon here.
Some people think we don't have Winter in Texas. Here in the north panhandle area where I live we certainly have Winter!
2 years ago we had 21+ inches of snow in one 24 hour period.
Usually our snow is accompanied by lots of wind.
Ah well, at least it's time to use our fireplace.

I definitely prefer snow to ice!

    Kif
Yes that is from me.Sorry I guess I forgot to put on mine ornament swap.Go ahead and peek Im not there to stop you, lol. But Santa is watching.!!!

I received my envelope from LJDudas (Linda), and it IS marked
as orny swap so I will NOT be opening it yet. Although hubs is
wanting to see what I got.

So funny that Ms. Linda had my name in this swap AND in the
    pincushion swap. LOVE IT!

I am still waiting to get the address again :~(. I am so very sorry to be such a silly swapper as to lose the address by deleting the pm with her name in it. I have it all wrapped and ready to send. I really thought I had written down the name and had it upstairs in the sewing room.

This is the last nice day we have before the winter storms come in. The temperatures are due to drop like a stone tomorrow. I am grateful for a wonderful fall with lots of colorful leaves for the longest amount of time as far as I can remember back. It has been really a spectacle to see.

You girls in all that snow be careful and stay safe.

I've never lived anywhere but here, so it's home.

    They also say,
"If you don't like the weather here, stick around a few minutes..."

So, no snow here, sunny as all get out, and was 16 degrees at 7 a.m. I've always said if it's cold, there should be snow!!
Weatherman said we set a new record here for biggest temp change in less than 12 hours.. 66 degree change. Not necessarily a fun record to break, tho..

    LoupEsprit,
I have to say, it is nice to have the different seasons! But right now, I'd almost take 80+ degrees..lol

    Materialgrl,
Thanks so much! But not for the fact I have a pkg "staring" at me, saying, "Go ahead, who'll really know??!!". But then the "good Kif" ( yes, all you doubters, there IS a good Kif!!) She says, "Don't touch the tape on that pkg, put the pkg down, put it away. Remember the year you were 7 and you oh so carefully opened your gifts, then re taped them?? And on Christmas how disappointing it was to already know?? And how your parents were smart enough, and loving enough to know you'd done that...but they didn't say a word...they just let you open those gifts, and as you started to cry from guilt and sadness, your parents and YOU knew there was a BIG lesson there, and you NEVER peeked at a surprise again!"
So, the pkg is put up. When is the 6th again???!!!

    Kiffie,

I KNOW what you mean by huge temp drops.

Yesterday morning about 7am it was 50 degrees when I left
to go to work. By noon the temp dropped to mid 30's, and
    by 5pm it was 22.

At 7am this morning it was 11, with a high about 22. Current
temp is 13, and the low tonight is supposed to be 1.

I am soooooooooo not ready for it to be this darn cold.

Just think this past Sunday it was about 70.

No Orny package for me yet, but I have been a very good girl, I'm sure it is on its way!

Cold and windy here, my DH says this is cold tootsie season, as I put mine on him to warm them up. He is an Angel for sure!!

I am packing up my swap boxes and am marking them with the day and time to open, but cannot remember if we have one for this swap. This one is Dec. 7th, right?....and we still aren't sure on a time?
