Done! (except for the hemming) which I will do tomorrow at my sister's house. I noticed the one corner seems wrong, but I just pulled out the fur and it is perfect now. Too lazy to take another picture after vacuuming that dang room. Whoa there was a lot of fuzz everywhere! I did add a pocket to the inside of the vest for whatever to make it handy.

My goodness, Red, you are one talented lady! Everyone is sure going to love your gifts!

Thanks for the Betsy McCall link. Can you believe it -- I never thought to Bing it, but of course now you can find most everything online. Whoever came up with that idea was sure smart to interest the little ones in Mom's magazine!

Red, you are very talented. Thank you for all of your posts and pics. And thanks so much for the paper doll link. I am going to purchase some magnetic printer paper and make some of those paper dolls for my DGD to use on her fridge. I may even make a magnetic board for her bedroom.

Here are some curtains I just finished for the Sunday school classroom. The large curtain is lined with blackout fabric which I had never worked with before. It was a bit of a challenge but turned out nice. The valance is my improv to go with the curtain since I ran out of the darker fabric. Now I can move on to other projects. Whew!

No it is a ranch style mink fake fur I bought at Hancock Fabrics. I was surprised how far fake fur has come to look real too.

This is a Project runway pattern by simplicity. #1787 I bought off a lady in Georgia off e bay. It was like two bucks plus shipping. I really liked the shape of the jumper. I plan on buying a set of tights and a matching t shirt top to go under it. Thanks for asking.

Thanks so much Cooky! I do so love sewing. I used to really love playing with betsy and all of the companions they gave her to "play " with.

Sewextremeseams! What a great idea to print them out magnetic! My niece loves the letters for the frig and plays with them a lot when she visits.

I really think your curtain is beautiful as well as functional, linda. What a nice sewing area. Mine is so cluttered with sewing things, it makes it hard to stretch out.

I am trying to make out thread interesting until our reveal party December 6th. I hope everyone jumps in and shares some of the things they are making too.
