luv has been missing for a long time....do you think she is "playing" with her new quilting thingy?

Nope...but she is playing!!!

She will be back before we know it!!! Boy is she going to be surprised!!!

My latest quilting adventure...I finally finished quilting my stepson's quilt last night...so proud!!! Held it up to show hubby and my mom and my mom said...you quilted houses!!! Look...sure enough, the pattern I chose to do for his top, makes it look like houses on the back...oh well!!!

I get to bind it tonight and figure out how to "save" my sister-in-law's quilt. Wish me luck there. Then I'm sewing the back for my brother's. Maybe I can get it quilted tomorrow and then work on the top for my sil's mom. I am going to try and give her the top and then take it back and finish the back.

Should be fun!!!

Well well well, looks like you all have been busy conspiring here.. lol...
I do have to say IM surprised Sapdoggie wasn't the initial trouble maker here.. lol...

We had our family holiday celebration last weekend then hubby and I took a brief vacation- he and I- to Vegas... left the munchkin with the G'parents... WE HAD A BLAST !!!! We played and shopped with the casinos money... I got alot of goodies from the Vegas shops with the winnings.. I did pretty well in Roulette and hubby did well in cards... Cross fingers that a long arm is under the tree for me!!!!!

We took in the Phantom of the Opera play in the Venetion Hotel and Cirque de soleil Mystere in Treasure Island Hotel- both absolutely fabulous..

BTW- I came back with a cold so I may not be on the board much the next couple of days...

So how has everyone been and whats everyone's plans for the holiday??

as for January's Swap- Im good with uglies.. I like uglies... but please keep in mind send what you would 'like' in return.. Ill post the Jan swap after holidays.. 3rd, 4th or 5th... 'Must be rec'd date' by the 25th...

I really was kidding about the uglies

I always have a hard time with your swaps cuz I love the fabrics so much I want to keep them all

For Christmas eve we go to my folks for dinner and hanging out with the WHOLE family ( as many can make it) Christmas Day we go to my sisters for lunch then off to the casino for a couple hours

Welcome home! Can you tell you were missed? Glad you had a great time.

I'm home with my kids. Mrs.sherbert is here with the babies. Soooo fun. She made the most cute ISpy quilt. Tonight all the close family comes. I just love Christmas. (can't wait to get back to swappin though)

I am now back on line after my puppy chewed up my power cord. iPhone is okay to read but to send the keyboard is too small for anything but a brief reply.
