I just know that I will forget something so take a look at the pictures, they speak volumes!! She said all of this was from her stash, now I know why they call her the FQ Stash Queen!
Such a nice package from FQ Stash Queen for our great host! I can't wait to see your bug jar quilt! Please tell us a little about the binder holder...what a cute and unique gift!
Hate to give away my secret cuz it's unique and way too easy to make. Just take a regular pool "noodle" and cut it into 6-8" pieces, cover it with fabric (obviously folded on raw edge) and tuck the remaining ends (about 3-4" fabric) into the holes. Voila! You have a binder holder. I usually put one in the package for anyone I swap with. My DH tells me I should make them and sell them -- like I need something else to do

I sure did. I sent mine on the 16th and PM'd her that day. I just probably won't get a SP pkg this time.

You wrap your binding around it silly. It's to keep your nicely ironed and ready to use binding from wrinkling or getting fold marks in it.

Duh! I'm such a ditz! I have only put binding on one quilt and it was such a pain. I am tickled to know there is an easier way. I have made 1 quilt on my own and helped with 2 others. I am working on one now for my DGD. I've gotten sidetracked with cooling scarves. I'm anxious to finish the scarves and get back to the quilt. Still kind of a newbie. LOL

OK, Modeenie, I'm not getting this. I feel really old and stupid, but it was a long, hard day at work, so I have a "tiny" excuse. What's a pool "noodle"? Now, don't anyone laugh if I'm wrog here, but would that be a an empty toilet paper roll or a paper towel cardboard roll? At first I thought you were talking Australian or British or some other slang. Now I see that I am simply not educated enough. And to think I spent the first 30 years of my life in Upstate, NY - shouldn't I know better?

And Fayzer, let's blow this popsicle bench and go to the beach instead. Might as well catch some rays while we wait for the mail. No package here today either.
