I was finally able to get to the Post Office yesterday. That 30 mile drive back home was the longest. But the wait was well rewarded. The box was so full. The only thing not in the photo is the Dove Dark Chocolate and I am sure everyone understands about that.

Just wait until you see the beautiful batiks and those potholders are incredibly thick, Linda58 must have an industrial machine to have sewn those. There are pins and needles, rotary blades, and one thing I always find handy -- a magnifier. I use one when I thread my sewing machine needles. A package of "Thank You Notes" -- I can never find one when I want to send a Thank You.

In case you cannot tell -- I loved my June SP package.

Thank you Lori for all the hard work you do on our behalf.

PS Despite the time on this post, it is 9 am here and the sun is shining brightly - a lovely day to dry the washing which is done and on the line.

Like my mom used to say, if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything. Everyone who signs up will receive a package. I don't want any more people dropping out because of all the negativity.
Also for those of us here in Canada, we were dealing with a postal strike for several weeks and we were unable to send anything out unless it was by FedEx or other international courier. For some, that could be quite pricey. I couldnt send my package out until yesterday (as the strike ended a couple days ago). I added a couple of peace offering gifties to my package and a big apology and thanks for patience note card. But things like this are out of our hands.

Just my two cents worth :)

No idea when things will be running smoothly again. So for those waiting for their SP package that are coming via Canada Post hang in there, the day of delivery will come. Dar
I finally got to send my package out to my SP yesterday when I got off work. The guy at the post office said the same thing t me too. Normally my SP would get her package 7-10 days time, but due to the large backlog it will take a few extra days. Thanks for update from your handsome mail guy!!!!
