I just sent out my secret pal's package. We both live in the same state, so it should arrive pretty quickly! Hope the chocolate doesn't melt before she gets it!

    South like in Florida????

Lori has a great suggestion, this is what I do too..I have a stash of things that any quilter could use like needles, pins, buttons, rulers, patterns etc...when I get my SP's name, I shop the gift stash first and then get some of the personal things in her/his colors.

That's a great suggestion, which I do have things lined up. But it still runs around 10.00 to mail out and that has to wait till payday :)

I also have a shopping bag of goodies. I buy them while on sale.I also like making at least 1 homemade gift. So when I see a pattern for a pin cushion, purse tissue holder etc. I make a couple.in the bag they go.Then when the names are given I shop out of my stash and my bag by color or brights or pastels or themes. Then fill in with some of their favorite colors or candies or crafts they do. This makes it possible to get the swap ready early. I also have 2 pay days a month.that is when I send it.Hope this helps get more packages out with in a few days of the mailing date. Mary

I have a stockpile of goodies I am adding to all the time and then I, too, add something personal to fit my pal. I got mine today and will be getting the package ready to go.
She or he is south of me.
