She was in Joplin's post office working as a volunteer. I hadn't even thought about that part of the disaster. With peoples homes gone. How do they get mail. Well they have to pick it up and show I.D. but some have lost their I.D. too.Well you can send for the papers to get new I.D. but then you can't get it from the PO without I.D. vicious circle. Just another pain for those poor people. There has been so much money and items donated and volunterrs. It is very impressive.Wish their were more people like that and less need for it. Mary
It is sad, but like you said the world does have some wonderful people.

Now Mary, did you ever give any hints about your SP??
Your so sneaky.Slipping that in.lol Oh did I forget to give a hint......

If my SP is doing something special for someone else, and I put a whole kit in for her to make, I have a couple of purchased items in my stash, the box will be full for priority mail, do I really need to make something or is that a choice of mine? I did only add one chocolate piece because she does not eat it very much, not a big fan. (Hint) I want to do right for my SP, is first time. I ask because several are making something and not sure of my time frame for this.

It's not at all a requirement that you have to make something. <3 That's at the discretion of the sender.

I'm glad it's not a requirement! I don't think I could fit anything else in that box if you paid me to try!

babyfireo4-It's all up to you. whatever you want to send. I really like to recieve a homemade item so I also send one when I can.The main idea is to send something you would like to recieve too. Not just something you don't want.Unless it is something your pal wants. Sounds like you are sending a nice swap already.Have fun and relax.Mary

Need to let my SP for the month of June know that her package will be mailed kinda late. I am out of state, I brought your package with me to mail then realized that I left something for you at home, so can not mail your package until I get back home. I will let you know that you do live in the Sunshine State and you live on the Gulf Side. I sure hope you do enjoy your package once you get it and I am truly sorry it will be late.

Hm, my SP hasn't posted since May 16th. But anyway, her package will go out this weekend. I made a couple things.

She lives in a state that was admitted into the Union on: November 8, 1889
