    Fabric picked out, washed, ironed, cut and blocks partially sewn. I am trimming the 1/2 square triangles to their 2 1/2 inches right now. I am having fun and can't wait to see the first blocks coming together.

    I am excited about this block as well. I am all Dresden'd out.....looking forward to spring by any means! (though I really can't complain aobut the weather)

    Thanks for the kind comments. I think they will play nice with the other blocks that were already posted. I will be sewing on the other ones tonight and hope to get most of them put together. This is a really fun block to show case any fabric in. I have a feeling I will be using this pattern again for future quilts.

    All my boom blocks are done so I plan on starting these tomorrow (actually today I guess ) I'm looking forward to this swap.

    Show off LOL well actually I only have one more Boom block to do and that should get done today , well after I get dressed, go to work for a couple hours , then I will come home and do the Boom block- then I can press the birds and start fussy cutting
