SherriR you don't want me to design the next block...it would be something like rail fence in fall colors or a nine patch variation. My mind is on "simple" right now.

I have another one of the shadow blocks appliqued' - this one is iris - I have it started so that I can do the hand stiching on vacation. I also prepared a needleturn block. It is out of the batik collection, so it is a little wild in color. I think that will be taken to my office when school resumes in Sept. And have two books to read. As you already know - I just can't sit still. Oh - and a few bottles of white and red wine as well as some Smirnoff red label.
