Hi Everyone, I got called into work yesterday ans will be working today also..
Sewing these patches into a block can be a learning curve for those of you that haven't done it before
If you cut your pieces accurately and sew a scant 1/4" press the seam to set the thread then press the seam to the dark side your block when finally sewn together it should be in the "Ballpark (close to perfect.
There should be No Repeats of the 5 colored, printed squares among the 10 blocks in the baggie.
Cheesehead, Your blocks are Great!

I have a problem choosing the pieces that tend to go together.. I try to balance the colors which drives me nuts. The overall look of a scrappy quilt will look kind of weird if a block has all the same pattern in it.. It would stand out like a sore thumb.. Just looking at Cheesehead's blocks imagine how pretty they would look sewn together. All the different colored blocks balance each other out.

I went ahead last night and re-cut my fabrics for my NEW 9 patches. So far I have enough for 60 blocks. I will get them sewn together this weekend and maybe 40 more.

I will be sewing this weekend, too. I have all the colored squares cut and the white is tomorrow. I will be making at least 7 packages and if time allows 10 packages.
Youngduncan, there is a good tutorial for posting pictures . You can search for it.

I should finish with my tenth set of blocks today and get them into the quart-sized bag. I already have a gallon-sized bag waiting. When I get all of them bagged properly, how do I find out where to mail them?
