    Yay I did it........ I was planning on making these over this weekend but I found out a few days ago that I am having ankle surgery tomorrow morning. Which means I will be immobile for a few weeks.. not sure I would be able to cut, iron and sew - so I really wanted to get these done first.
    Hope you all like them, they are all 12.5" blocks...they are simple, but I think they turned out nice...it is hard to pack them up and mail them out.

    I'm working on my blocks to join! I'm gonna try to do 4 sets, here is my first block....

    It's the red cross block...12 1/2 squared

    Lol. I think that is the block that my mom is planning on doing for the red white and blue swap it is such a small world.

    I think I said I would do 4 sets, but would like to change that to 3 and this will be the 3 sets I will do....

    I have 1 set finished. I call them umbrellas on the sand-a bird's eye view. 9" umbrella (hexagon block) appliqued on 12 1/2 inch muslin block with button center and embroidered v-birds.
