Cher and AI, I'm down off my chair with KLue - your blocks are soooo pretty. I can't get over how these are turning out, and I can't wait to get my blocks in the mail!!! I have to wait two whole months, it's so unfair!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jane must've been pretty proud of herself when all was said and done...I can't believe there isn't more on the history of her quilt.

I can't believe how beautiful all the blocks I've seen are so far! I'm just blown away by the skill and presicion. I had a hard enough time with a Nine patch at this size! I will be very interested to watch the cyber sew! I will definetaly NOT be participating but I will love to see what you are all doing!

Good news...I've worked out my glitches with B3 and will NOT have to applique. I just added a 1/4 inch to the outside of the templates and cut back a little. Thanks to Bearisgray/Sharon, I am now a very very happy camper. I should be able to get these done this week, then on to K2 and lots of strip piecing...

    Thank you.
I am gonna do some pics of the process as soon as I can. I did paper piece them and you have to pin pin pin to get them to line up right. I am also finding that regular copy paper is easier to use for these because you need them to be really stiff. I am also using a pivot technique I have never seen it done but I am sure it exists but it took 4 tries to figure it out so on the next blocks I will take photo's of the steps as I go. I think you will find them helpful.

Herer is B3 and it's about as good as I can get it without going crazy. I could do the applique, and cut by 4, and would have better alignment on the circles, but I believe it would take at least twice as long, if not more....

If this is good enough, I'm going to make 17 more!
