I can't believe all the beautiful blocks that have been posted. This swap is just too much fun.

Klue I've never used vellum paper for paper pieceing (you suggested this in another post) and I had some on hand and tried it. Great stuff, especially for these small peices. This paper has better stability especially if you take the stitches out and restitch, but tears easily for removal. I am learning so much from this thread. I'm sure I'm the only one that takes out and restitches, right :?: :D

people actually have to pull out seams??? OMG, you poor things i've never had to do that

vellum is the best for paper piecing plus you can see thru it, what a pleasure that is. i'll never use freezer paper or traditional paper piecing paper again.

here's a link to the site that i buy it from - her prices are the best i've seen for this stuff. i just got an order a couple weeks ago for 300 sheets (getting ready for the Cyber Block Party).

i also use the seam roller in between each piece instead of having to iron and single seam.

What I have may not be for sewing but it works. I will have to order these items before we start in Jan. I'm looking for the blue fabric now, I haven't found one yet that stares back at me, but will.

Wow....bear and Esq...you blocks are ALL beautiful! I wish I was that far along!

I'm almost finished piecing the baby quilt that I am behind on...I need a couple of little blocks to fill in...you guessed it...I'm going to try our my DJ blocks for those spots...hopefully I can use these test blocks in this little quilt!
