What nice work everyone is doing I love it. I missed a couple of days reading and wow here we are with a swap with in a swap.
Klue you must be soooo amazed at the turn out for this swap it is the biggest I have ever seen :shock:

Since I can't paper piece yet, I'm going to hold out on the triangles. I'm taking a 3 part class, and after I get a little more accomplished, I'll tackle one and see about joining in. January, right????

yes, there's plenty time to join in - they aren't due until the 1st week of jan.

you might want to grab one now while easier ones are still available.

its not like you aren't going to learn to paper piece - you have no choice but to learn in time for the cyber block party.

i really am amazed by the turn out. most quilters know and love jane but stay away because its a real challenge - even the most experienced quilters struggle with the size and pieces in a jane block.

i'm so happy that so many people want to be a part of the swap and i'm so honored and thrilled that so many of them wish to do the cyber block party too.

its something i look forward to on a daily basis - i feel so lucky to have all of you ladies to share this experience with - it would break my heart if i couldn't be a part of the cyber block party.

I know, just hard to commit right now...since it's only six, at this point, I'm tempted to take the heart one on the right side (the one with 3 different sized hearts, or is it four?) - I don't mind doing the applique and it seems easy. I'm also wondering what I'll do with 6 triangles. I suppose I can cut another 6 of the plain triangles, and make something, but what? I'm getting 54 of the squares and it doesn't seem like enough triangles to do anything with...Any thoughts anyone?

Bearisgray - I'm curious - are you going to do any triangles? Is that something that intrigues you, or are you sticking with your square blocks only?
