    It took me 3 hours and some unsewing to get this critter. TR3 Checkerboard. Think I'll keep it Klue!

    It went better than I thought it would!!!!!!!!!!

    Oh, by the way, it finished up at just a hair over 8" long and about 5 1/4 " wide. Is that close enough ?

    susic, I love your block! The fabric and design is perfect!! Are'nt these a blast. I'm so glad Klue thought of doing them. I am learning so much!

    the triangle looks great, i think the size should be just a smidge larger. what i would do is when you're trimming the sections down to put together just cut them slightly larger then the cut line on the paper piece pattern.

    what i typically do to achieve this is i place my ruler on the darker seam line at the 3/8 mark instead of the 1/4.

    for me its easier to see the darker seam lines then it is to see the light colored dashed lines.

    Suzic, that is a great looking block! I love your fabs!

    Jan...wow on the triangle....those are amazing! I'm hoping that by the time I get to the end of the whole DJ quilt, I will be good enough to tackle the triangles :roll:

    Finally had some time to work on my second set of blocks yesterday and other block of the months that I belong to. I had six hours of just me time to sew with only taking a few breaks. I managed to finsh all 18 blocks along with other things. So here she is J-6 Granny Weaver.
