    I'm done! Woooooohoooooooo!

Murphy's Law.... I ran out of fabric when I had just four left to do, so had to switch some fabrics. And lo and behold, I like the switched ones better! lol

Still... I'm pleased with how they came out.

Oops... they're red, not pink! I took the photo at night, so the colours are not quite accurate.

    :-)

Blue, your blocks are great! Here is my next one, I redid some because the one on the left is 4 7/8" and also I couldn't see the smallest pieces due to the pattern of the material. I have 3 of the new ones done - only 15 to go :D

they look awesome, this is one of my favorite blocks because its very simple in design yet it can have so many different looks just by changing the fabric.

i always thought this block would look great if you did it like a color wheel and spiral thru the colors from the inside to the outside.

The little melon thingy (and I used the size from the software) is to big, meaning it extends into the 1/4" seam line. Ok, so I redid it yesterday. Used kosmos instructions to the letter.. and guess what? They are still to big!!!
So I did the next best thing... I used Steam a seam 2 and got them all fixed, made sure that they didn't extend into the seam line (had to decrease the size of the melon thingy).... So now do I handstitch around the melon thingy, or do I machine stitch? And with what stitch? Here's what they look like..
I have had a @!%$#! of a time with my little diamonds. I too switched to the steam a seam 2 and using the smallest blanket stitch I can in matching thread and I think the look a heck of a lot better. They are just too small to hand sew and keep in place. My camera has been giving me issues but I will try to post tonight and see what everyone thinks
