we're going to make the "blue block" issue easy.

we don't have enough people interested in doing a "set" swap so we'll just receive 1 or 2 blue blocks whichever you prefer.

if you would like to receive a blue block it will be a part of your green/red take.

that means if you've done 2 sets of red and green, thats 36 blocks, i will give you 35 red/green and 1 blue or if you ask for 2 blue blocks i'll give you 34 red/green and 2 blue.

so, if you would like to receive less red/green and a blue please let me know - you can request as many blue blocks as you'd like but just remember that means you'll receive less red/green blocks.

i'm willing to do another swap for the blue blocks but it looks like only 4 people would be involved.

i'd even do it with 4 if you guys want to.

it would mean making 18 blocks in blue since we already have a set of 18.

would you be willing to do another set of 18

If we do a blue swap, does the mailing date remain October 15?

KLue, I ordered the Dear Jane book last night, then read today that there really are no piecing instructions for the blocks. My nose is to the grindstone and I will try to get my red/green blocks to you asap. I would love to have one of the blue blocks, but really don't know if it's realistic that I can get another set done by the end of the month.

the book is really bad for learning to make a jane quilt.

the book is more of a day journal about brenda, the lady who wrote the book.

if you like reading blogs/journals then you might like the book but if you're looking for help in constructing a jane quilt, your best bet is the software.

In "The Hobbit" Bilbo Baggins fell to the floor twitching and kept saying "Struck by lightning. Struck by lightning." I think that would be appropriate for us quilters, too.

 I have the works and wish for more. Is that part of quilting?
I got aquainted with these little "buggers" from the Dear Jane web page. From there I can get the informations I need. But still went ahead and ordered software, Dear Hannah book because it was also on my software.
But I often find that just a good friendly fellow quilter is the most help
