i am going in for knee surgery (sports injury - no big deal) at the end of the month and have taken the rest of the year off from work to recover.

so, in celebration of my long vacation, i thought i'd give you a week to catch your breath too - we're very busy between red/green, triangles, and blue/white.
Oh Klue that is great that we have more time. I have been clearing all my obligations so I can just have the Cyber sew in Jan.

Good luck with your knee. I had ACL repair in May so I know what you mean about the rest of the year. It does take some time to heal.

Sazu they look good to me. Heck I think I counted on my blocks, 40 pieces which is 720 pieces WOW I think I was nuts when I picked my block.

I'd like to join the Blue swap also...just 1 set though for now...just pick a block for me if you would Klue please.....

Thanks for the extension since I have to do 11 of my blocks over due to the color bleed. I did amost finish up the other set of 18 last night...so thats a relief. Now I only lack 9 of the ones I have to redo. That should only take a couple of nights so I'll be ready to do another set of the blue ones or I might go through withdrawal!!

Good luck with your surgery Klue! Take it easy and take care of that knee...you'll need it!
i'll put you down for B4, its an easy PP, its only 1 section.

the time off from work for the surgery was great - i was already taking off 2 weeks in nov & then another 2 weeks in dec - so it just made sense to take the entire time off.

    Klue,

You are the best. I don't know how you get so much done in so little time. Good luck on your knee surgery and a speedy recovery. Will pm for instructions for blocks.

Thanks and have a great day.

Klue see what you started??  You have created a Beautiful Monster!! Did you ever think this would grow to such a size?? It has become a huge event here!!! I am so excited to see all the blocks I get back!! This is like you can't just eat one chip--you can't just do one block!!! for a lot of us anyway!!

It is exciting to read this thread and catchup on all the happenings in this our own little DJ world!!

I wanted to say a congratulations to all of you who are doing the tiny piecing for the first time. You are all doing beautifully!! I know it is a bit daunting when you have never worked with such a small size block before but I admire you for taking on such a challenge when it is outside of your comfort zone! Bravo to all for all the beautiful blocks trial or otherwise that I have seen so far!!
