    Anyone, help please.

Do you use the same color thread as the fabric you are sewing?

Yep, I too found that out the other night when I was PP my block. I couldn't figure out why they looked the same, but wouldn't match up.. and yes, I still sewd it. then ripped and that's when I figured out that the numbers/wording have to be the same..I too didn't think it'd make such a difference.. but it does...

On the bobbin thread, I used Finishing Touch...and get it here http://www.sewingsupplywarehouse.com/fitobothw.html It came with both my Ellegante and 4000D. It can also be used for making lingere'(sp?).

Klue.. Here's wishing you the best and a fast recovery time on your knee surgery...

OQF... I use a off white/neutral color when sewing all my blocks..

I used to, then I learned that most people use a neutral colour, so now I use beige for almost everything.

I love your blocks Janstar. They look so Christmasy (?). I think I missed the theme a little on mine. I will be mailing my blocks and triangles in the morning. One thing about PP there is a mess to clean up afterwards. I got my sewing room all cleaned up, even rearranged a few things and I ready for the next project, binding a wall hanging that's been in the works for a year or so.
I can't wait to start making these blocks. One good thing about making your own and only making one; once you get one really like you want it you can move to the next. I have my supplies and am ready for
