yes i am going to try my hand at the cyber sew. 2 problems i don't know how to paper piece and i don't know how to applique

sounds like its time to learn.

you can make a dear jane quilt without paper piecing - the original jane wasn't done by paper piecing.

you will have to learn applique though.
