    I really like that look with the log cabin to fill. :lol: But may take me longer to finish the top since I have never done a log cabin before :oops: Thanx for posting those Klue

    Ok, here is a little sneak peak. This is my wonky block center. I am working to get it right, the center red square is just a little too small. I'm also debating between green triangles on the corners of the red. What do you ladies think?

    i think the green for the triangles is great!

    i don't think the block is bad at all.

    first thing is to square the block up, then you need to remember the center red square is going to look smaller then the others because all the seam allowance has been taken away.

    once you sew on the green triangles you'll see those other squares come roughly the same size as the center red one.

    you're doing great! trim the block square and then sew on the 4 green triangles and take a pic.

    i'll bet you it looks great when your done.

    I'm about to sew my blocks. I like to make templates and cut fabrics when I do paper piecing - less waste fabric LOL. Here's a picture - I hope!
