I'm willing to wait too! I want everyone who made blocks to get theirs.

I don't mind waiting a bit longer either. I hope they turn up. Every time I start worrying that something is taking longer than it should in the mail, it seems to wait till I start to sweat and panic just a wee bit then it arrives. Hopefully this is the same!

Can I ask a favour though, can we keep in mind that it takes a lot longer for the mail to get down here, especially as it gets closer to christmas. One week delay for you guys could mean two weeks for me. :-)

How many get tracking/confirmation of delivery with your mailings?

I think it costs $0.80 extra for USA to USA deliveries.

I just wrote to a Canadian, and she said not to panic until four weeks after mailing!

Down here, as long as we keep the receipt, it can be tracked. Although, I've never had to do it so don't know how accurate they are. Touch wood!

I almost always get one when I send something - seems fairly accurate - I'm not so sure how well it works when it crosses national boundaries.

I bought a necklace on e-bay from someone in Italy. The seller said he(?) couldn't insure it - it really didn't take all that long for it to get here -

The problem is that we can't get a regular parcel tracked with Canada Post. In order to get tracking to the USA, you have to pay for an "Expedited Parcel" which starts at $12.50 (for a package under one pound to the closest zone) and goes up from there, depending on the weight of the parcel and the distance it needs to travel. For instance, sending a 3-pound parcel to Arizona would cost me $24.65 *sigh*

I would sign up for a lot more swaps if our postage was less expensive!

Doing a swap does add up - the initial cost of the fabrics, and the postage going both ways - plus having to take the stuff to the post office to have it weighed -
the flat rate envelopes are nice, but sometimes I can't get everything stuffed into one - or I can send it first class for less.

I've noticed in several of the swaps that mail to and from kgoodhand does take a little longer. The good news is that it does eventually get there or to whereever it is going! Its ALWAYS worth the wait too...so I agree, Klue...wait...!
